Maribel woke up late to find a certain message on her phone , which she ignored. But the green slime coming out the tap didn't look like anything you'd want to touch, let alone drink.

Annoyed to find out that this was the case for all the taps, as well as the shower, she went ahead and read the message on her phone. Boil the water, the message said. She frowned, not really wanting to believe that it would work, but things weren't always logical in this so-called "Digimon City".

Skeptical, she filled the electric kettle with the slime coming out of the kitchen sink and let the slime boil. The smell was horrible. Nevertheless, once the kettle had finished its task, she poured the contents out into a glass expecting it to be the same. It was, but a little stinkier and bubblier than before.

Maribel's white ball of fluff, Staffy, had been following her around and curiously yet mostly silently observing. She jumped onto the table where the slime-filled glass stood. She looked as the stuff glowed, and bubbles slowly moved towards the surface. ... Maribel wouldn't expect her to drink this would she?
