Mikagura's green lit for anime!
I can't say I'm particularly happy with the art for the anime, assuming that's the style they're going with. No, I take that back, it seems to me like all the other characters BUT Eruna are going to look perfectly fine. I don't know why. This is the 3rd Vocaloid series to be made into an anime and before the first episode is out, I'm already a bit disappointed by it. But, as they always say, "don't judge a book by its cover." So I won't let the art get to me as I watch the anime! Considering what little bit of the light novel and manga I've read, I can't see how the anime could go wrong with this (it's a slice of life about weird stuff and doesn't appear to have a linear story at all. How could they POSSIBLY go wrong?), so I'll just have faith that despite the art style, it'll be a good anime.

Man, this piece is a heck of a lot better than the one I did for the 15 Day Vocaloid Fan Art Challenge.
Planning to put that and this into a draw it again meme so you can all compare them side by side.
I realize my compositions have been growing more and more conventional. I need to get around to working with camera angles and perspective rather than just standing posing characters.
