I think yes, I'd include the link or name of the artists in the description it's like a shoutout to the creator of a reference and at the same time it will protect you from unkind comments that you 'stole' something (unfortunately a lot of people can drop nasty accusations ((

For example I draw a lot of fanarts and under each drawing I write who the character belong to and if I use a reference, I also give links to original images or to one of the artist's accounts - but honestly any kind of mention of the source of the reference is awesome ^^ Even simple 'One of Ilya Kushinov pictures was my reference'
