"So, where off to next? The Lost Moon of Poosh? Which really isn't even lost anymore since that whole Earth meta-crisis." The Doctor smiled, looking at you with soft brown eyes. You had (e/c) orbs that rested in your head, and to be honest, his brown-chocolate eyes seemed much more beautiful than yours.

"Well, Poosh, does sound nice, but we've been to eight planets in a week.. That's almost a planet a day. We could take a break, go home, introduce you to my parents.. They don't even know you, or where I am.." You looked right back at the Doctor, his expression went blank, then lit back up.

"Of course, (y/n), companions get a say in our travels too!" He started flipping switches and the TARDIS stared to shake. From your current location, you appeared in your front lawn in London. You stumbled out of the TARDIS and on the porch, as always, was your mum having her daily coffee while reading her novels.

Your mum looked up from the book she was reading and set down her coffee, then holding her hand over her mouth, eyes wide, "(y/n)...?" She mumbled under her breath.

"Y-Yes, m'am?" You smiled, running up the porch steps, embracing your mother while tears drip down your cheeks onto her sweater. The Doctor stepped out of the TARDIS and leaned on it's door. You pulled away and wiped your cheeks.

"Where in gods name have you been!?" Mother yelled, before her attention was drawn to the Doctor.

"Mum, I'll explain that all, but you'll have to believe it all... First things first, this is The Doctor." You pointed to The Doctor.

"Ello' mate. I'm The Doctor," He smiled, "Your daughter has been wonderful."

"Hello, Is THIS who you've been out with, deary?" Mother looked at you.

"Not exactly, but that thing right behind Doctor is the TARDIS. Time and Relevant Dimension In Space." You spoke, pointing to the TARDIS. The Doctor walked up the porch steps.

"-'In Space'? Does that mean..." Your mother started.

"Yes, ma'am it does, we're space travelers, I've been taking (y/n) all over the universe for almost five months now. We've fought in time wars, saved planets, even saved London it self..." The Doctor chuckled, wrapping an arm around your shoulder, lightly shaking you.

"O...kay...? If you say so... But I have a question.." Your mother looked at the Doctor.

"M'am?" The Doctor replied, with a smile.

"Are you married?" Mother smirked.

"I-...W-.... N-...... U-Uh.." His face was engulfed in a red tint and you started laughing.

"Mum, he's a Time Lord.. I think marriage between 2 species is illegal!" You chuckled and heard the Doctor mutter; "It's not..."

Your face went pink and your laughing died down.

Doctor's POV

She looked so nice when she laughed, I'm sure she got her looks from her mum, it was quite obvious she looked like her mum, who was quite attractive. I've had my fair share of companions; Amy, Rose, Martha, Clara, Rivers, Donna, but by far (y/n) had been the best out of all of them. But Life is short for her, too short. I've lived over one-thousand years and she's only 21, she'll die soon... Not to mention the Weeping Angels... She's not too keen on them... She could be sent 50 years in the past, and it'd be my fault...

Am I ready for a steady relationship?
