Brief History : Born out of the depths of the Earth's core, Vulkanus emerged from the Sibrian Traps during the Permian-Triassic extinction event. When the time moves on and the continents shift, Vulkanus trekked the entire globe, looking for a decent home. Ancient civilizations recorded the behemoth's movement through the world. Finally, the kaiju found a small volcanic chain where it settled there inside the island's main volcano.

The military has classed Vulkanus, codenamed: Komodo as a Category III Kaiju. Though it's sheer size alone could intimidate humanity, Vulkanus is actually the most docile kaiju and won't attack without any reason. The volcano where it slept is being monitored around the clock to record it's sleeping cycles and research on it's biology.
