when i started taking college drawing classes i didnt really know how to use charcoal. when i got in drawing two this year m teacher told me that that my drawings were too linear and looked flat. so by turning the charcoal onto its side im able to make better transitions with tonal changes. it makes the picture look more realistic and it doesnt look and cartoonish. and your welcome by the way

Very impressive characoal drawing! I like the detail in the petals
