Well, the games are actually different from one another
It's like playing another story
FF7 for PS1 has a nice story and it's kind of addicting
FF8... I don't like it much but most people like the love story and the character designs and the whole "teenage-school-love" typical theme
FF9 is one of my faves... next to FF7, but a lot of people don't like it 
FF10 is good---according to people. they loved it... I found it boring
FF10-2 is.... well... it's cool but it broke up FF10's story
FF12 is fun to play. And the character Balthier is just too charming LOL
