this is by far the best piece of art i have seen from you, i absolutely love the thoughts represented i can tell this was a well thought out piece, i am not a big fan of skulls etc but you have captured all the elements so wonderfully that i would be an idiot not to fave this

I was thinking about my mother when I creating this pic, she passed away, April 15 2004, she wasn't old but had a lot of health problems, her birthday is on Thanksgiving day; I was remembering how she told me about her hard life growing up and the strong will she had, to deal with daily life.

i think there is usually a reason for most things in life but death in certain situations is just unwarranted and unnecessary

life can certainly be a struggle but i guess it is what we choose to learn from it that makes the difference and from the sounds of it your mother was quite wise and you probably learnt more from her than you even know

In the US., Thanksgiving day in 2008 is on Noveber 27, becuase of daylight savings time: my mum was born on Thanksgiving day November 26, 1959.
