"1500 years since I left you huh.."
Iktomi thought to himself as he was heading back to the castle after another successful mission. Now it was over, he had time to think...alone. He hated being alone.
Back all those years ago, he was alone, he was unhappy. Until she came into his life.
She was everything to him.
He wanted them to be friends forever
They understood each other
They were a team
Until he was sent away..
Till he was brought here, to this warzone.
He sat by a lone oak tree, repeating the events of his past, over and over. A lifetime in a couple of minutes...repeat..
Sure he loved his new friends, Rancor and his friendly spirit, yet a great leader. His small spats with Summer made him chuckle. Friendly banter as he liked to put it. Komet the innocent yet strong guard. Lightspeed was a mixed bag but still what is considered a friend in this world. So many others also flashed through his mind.
They all were amazing, he felt what he assumed was joy.. but still deep down, he felt empty.
He wasn't whole without her..
A small object fell from the tree's branch. He flinched as a small pain rushed to his head taking him out of his mind.
He looked down at the puny perpetrator.
A nut

Ahhh I finally did it. I gave him a backstory of some sort.
So basically in restruction, Iktomi was sent from the past and thrown from his happy equestrian land into the Habifike warzone land.
I did this because Iktomi already existed in two different universes so I decided to merge them together. The nutshell universe and Habafike universe are the same but the nutshell era happened during the events of MLP and Habafike happens 1500 years after.
(Also this is not a vent. I'm fine don't worry)

Oh WOW! This turned out GREAT! You even took into mind that the Imago version of Lightspeed is a bit more emotionally closed off, and only seems to lighten up around Summer given he witnessed his parents die in a hot air balloon accident and they were forced to survive until they got to Imago. He's seen plenty of the fighting and questions it a lot.
The piece is great dude. Good job!
