Broaden your colour pallet. The lady's clothing stuff, is it bronze, gold, copper? Good job on making the necklace match the hair tie though.
The guy's parka is blue, but that doesn't mean that you can't use other colours to shade it. The metal in the picture uses red and orange tones, try finding another colour, even a really dark shade of blue to help define the parka more.
The fuzz is really well done, but the shading and all the hard work you put into it is only visible near the edge, try a darker tan near the what would be the bottom of each strand of material. You don't necessarily need to darken his features so much as define them, the pale and dark helps to make the picture really interesting. You might want to consider changing the colour of the fuzz to help bring his face out more. You could even just lighten it or take out more red and making it more yellow. You have a lot of blue on him including his eyes. Make them stand out more by darkening them or even making them the same colour as her neck piece.
In this piece you have two contrasting characters which are the focus and their contrastingness is too. The background should compliment that not contrast them as well. Maybe take a little bit less of green and purple and pull out some colours from the girls clothing, the reds and oranges, that way people's eyes will stay on the characters and don't shift to the background. If you want to make them stand out more, then don't use black as a base colour for your background try an extremely dark red or orange (depending on what colours you use) so that she (especially her hair) subtly stands out from the background.

I'm no art critic but these are the things I would change. It looks really good, anyone can tell that you put a lot of work into this piece!

Fuzzy hood = love. :3

I like the fluffy feeling of the picture (I mean the romantic atmosphere, not just the hood ) Her hair coming off her scalp is okay (that's just me- I personally don't like that hairstyle) but I LOVE her ponytail! And it's cool you're experimenting with an outlineless style. Pretty nifty! The texture on her neck is lovely (and her skin colour is gorgeous.)

Out of curiosity, how many months pregnant is the mother here? (I had to look a few times to get the angle of her belly, but that isn't your fault; I'm still really giddy and distracted from last night ) Also, at this angle I find that her left breast (which'd be the one facing us) seems more flat than round... unless she hasn't grown into her Mommy boobs yet. Without some of the shading it just looks like someone censored her bewbies with a cinnamon bun. It's a really nifty design (THAT SNAKE ON HER ARM IS SO COOL), I would suggest (if you can bear it) looking at Leia's slave bikini for boobalicious references at that angle. I don't quite know how to describe it, which probably resulted in the longest discussion/ramble I've ever had about breasts on the internet, but to summarize (in case your eyes glazed over at my lonnnnng boring comment about tits) it looks more concave than convex .

Next: the guy! The hair is lovely and looks very touchable. As mentioned previously, I find his features to be a bit too light. His eye colour is b-e-a-utiful. Speaking of things related to eyes, where did his eyebrows go?
I can't really think of much else to say about him... uh... wait! I like the colour of his blue jacket...parka...thing. Is his tail fuzzy like his collar, too? Because that would be amazing.

Okay! I'm done for now. I hope you don't mind the critique. It's a lovely picture, don't get me wrong, and I'd like to see more work like this from you in the future.

You did a great job on this pic. I really like the way it turned out. But you should probably darken him up a little more. You could do more with their arms, practice on making them look a little more flexible. It gets easier with time but harder with muscle added. I still can't get Abyss' arms to be all that flexible. I hope that's at least a little helpful to you...
