What's this thing floating in the middle of the wasteland?

I'm pretty sure it wasn't there a moment ago...

I felt like doing something purple-pinkish again. It's a speedpainting - if you can still call it that way.

I started this on Windows the day before yesterday, but ended up aborting work on it after some minutes and picked it up and finished it on Xubuntu later on. I actually wanted to do this in one go, but certain bugs on the Windows version of GIMP don't make it very speedpainting-friendly, so I'll probably stick to doing this kind of stuff on Xubuntu. It was too much of a hassle, I learned my lesson.
It was already pretty much done yesterday, but I felt like something was missing and had to let it sink in, so there you go. Added the floating thing in the middle.
The actual work time was longer than anticipated, but in total still rather short.
