Description
Happy very peculiar Easter Monday!
"Huh, what is this image?"
→ A placeholder. It will be replaced sometime soon.
"With what?"
→ An Easter-themed image, and one that represents this Easter Monday… This one in particular. Maybe.
"Should I fave this?"
→ Nah, I will update it with a watcher notification when the time is due. If you watch me, you'll automatically get an update once it happens.
"But why release it later in the first place?"
→ Time, Mr. Freeman… Time… And energy. Both of which I'm running short on recently, which is why it will release in the timespan between now and Orthodox Easter at the very latest (if I didn't get anything wrong, that should be May 5th).
"But why not use the other placeholder format then?"
→ Because this is a special occasion. It's a very peculiar Easter Monday.
"Will this become a bad habit?"
→ Nope, this is the second instance so far and an exception. The rest will be caught up with very soon. The other template is also just a failsafe / backup plan to let you know that something is going on. Speaking of which: Working on it!
"Is this (all of it in general) some fancy new art form that subverts the expectation of the viewer and whatnot?"
→ Maybe…? But it certainly is an unusual event, isn't it? It makes you want to know more of what's to come. Follow the clues!
"I want a teaser!!!"
"Will this image get wiped like the other undated placeholder mystery once the actual submission is done?"
→ No, of course not! And the other placeholder has already been preserved . I preserve my stuff… probably, possibly, maybe… So a carbon copy of this image has been stashed away in my Sta.sh right over here as well. You will be able to enjoy this obscure and mysterious weirdness 1:1 in the same format as here, with the same title and the same description… though comments may differ if you posted any as they're separate pages.
"Was this done with GIMP 2.10 as well, and was it on Xubuntu?"
→ Jes, estis.
