[Edit]: Changed the art because the last one was so ugly.This pretty much covers all sparkledogs.

um, not exactly, I mean, you don't necesary need to do this for a cool FH char, you just need creativity and idea.
All my FH chars for example are nothing like this and when I go around people always tell me that my characters are cool, i dont want to try make publicity or trying to be a jerk here... But I took some screenshots, you could check them if you want
well leaving behind the "publicity" issues, I mean you say you have to do this or either you're not cool? (I'm not taking offense) Well I'll just could say you are kidding, every one has their styles

It's a joke for the wolfaboos. Wolves are over-appreciated while felines are under-appreciated, in the FH world.

Gahhh. I cannot express how much I hate sparkledogs. Fair enough, maybe a bit of unnatural colours. My own Fursona is black with neon green markings. But a lot of my characters have natural colours, and at the most, just neon/bright coloured hair or something...
The only sparkledogs I really hate, and the ones that JUST have colours. Or those that have black fur and bright colours everywhere else, like you showed.

Yes, I can live with a few bright colors. If it is used in a nice way, and I always love to hear a good story behind them.

Lol. I hate those sparkle dogs that are black and have swirls of neon colour all around.. and those white too. I mean, I have a white/Light pink/Light blue character Rose (she's feline), she's my main character, but she dose not look like one on those canines xD She looks pretty ^^ Nice tutorial.
