HMMM only critique I have is a question. It looks like wooden walls. Since this is in rural china shouldn't the walls be made from something local and be more rounded? Or core-gated tin or iron walls?

Mmmm you're probably right. Honestly I didn't think much about it, I was just sorta picturing a shed, but I have no idea what a shed would look like in rural china.

Oh man, this picture really strikes me. I remember reading this part from the book, and it still haunts my mind. This picture really captures the feel I got from reading that story. The lighting is just perfect, and I really love b/w works. Nice job!

Cool pic!! I was wandering how the kid look like. I saw him laying on floor with grey skin( so mostly with book description) tied up like dog in Old Mothers Hubbard house. Here he looks creepier that I could imagine.
