Found this old file and toyed around with it. I kinda like the messy look

Nice style, I think the background should be like that, soft and calming, to contrast the lively sketchy strokes, so good work

I wouldn't say you suck I think with morepractice you can make a lot better, but you rock as it is my friend so don't say that
Anyways I like the flow of this one, the colours relating to the sky and the messy elements create some movement like picking up an element and start adding, I like that

You need to try move away from the whole "blue vs yellow (orange in this incident) vs white" though.

It was actually a lot more blue/yellow, I just adjusted the colors to look just a little bit different lol.
