This is Shala and her kittens Lira and Nohin outside the human village of Qivliit, watching dragons flying in the distance. Here's their story:

The city of Cephdi had been growing and thriving for years. It was the home of the Euri Nama, the rainbow cats. The Euri Nama were considered nearly extinct outside of their city, which they built to give themselves a home and protection. They used to be nomads, hunting and hiding in secret, but then they decided to band together, figuring that they'd be stronger that way. The Euri Nama built a long cobblestone wall around Cephdi, leaving strategic arrow holes and even digging a moat around each of the four gates. They lived in safety from attack, their society growing and economy prospering due the skill of their goldsmiths.
Shala lived in Cephdi with her husband Jokoi, a regular cat, but still with human intelligence, and her kittens. Jokoi was a woodworker, and Shala managed their business of selling furniture.
But then the Dezhax, a tribe of barbaric wolves, attacked Cephdi. The pure strength of the Dezhax overwhelmed the Euri Nama, and they were forced to flee their city, scattering across the world of Thorlayindrah. After Jokoi died in battle, Shala and her kittens left on a long journey of grief and untamed wilderness. Now they have finally reached Qivliit, the small human village that will be their new home.
