Description
As promised, here is a picture of the cover of my September 1998 issue of Game Informer Magazine, featuring a cover story on Spyro the Dragon. I got this recently off of ebay and I don't regret it. It has a two page review of the game, and a four page strategy guide, as well as the two page "Spyro Mania Sweeps Country" ad. I'll try to upload the other pictures soon, and I'm not sure how many there will be.Also in this issue is a preview of the PS1 game, Duke Nukem : Time to Kill, and an ad for Tomb Raider III at FuncoLand! Interestingly, the cover art for TR III in the magazine was not the final NTSC cover, so that was a nice suprise for me, being a TR fan.

I have a Playstation 2, with a PS1 card I can play my Insomniac Spyro games, I have all three.
I like all the Spyro Console games, even my Gamecube "Enter The Dragonfly."

I was seven years old when this game came out. Its been such a long time (turning 20 in september). I used to own the first three ps1 games for Spyro, but my first one got lost. I still have Spyro:RR & Spyro:YotD... I also see Darkstalkers 3 on the list of games on the cover. I own that still too. I have all the TR games but my cousin sat on my TR II a few years back and snapped it in half... that one was my favorite too. Gosh. I miss playing those games; But I switched from PS to Xbox and I don't have a system to play them on. Now they're just part of a collection.

The shark fight was epic, as was the battle with the dragon at the end. And don't forget the Floating Islands. That level creeped me out.

i know right? i mean, i like LOS because the backstory was so intense and serious, but id be so much more happy if they brought the original back, by the original creators. thatd be great ;w; skylanders is bleh, i dont like it, even if i never played, but it is more liek the original...like a cross between dawn of the dragon (3rd of LOS) and year of the dragon. (3rd of original)

yes and Skylanders Giants come in the fall and thats the other thing they release Spyro's games in the fall but there gotta be a way to bring the Original

True, but from what I've seen in Skylanders, it actually looks more like classic Spyro than LoS did, for me at least. I consider it a step in the right direction, if just a small step.

you gottah point but still a few flaws for example Perthene The Fairy you see shes part genie since her lower part is like a genie's tail and Fairys in the old games Zoe usally Zaps Spyro so his Progress save and Spyro ends up at the same place where he was zap at and Tiana The fairy was telling Spyro he needed to destroy dark gems to break force fields and The other fairys gave Spyro elementel breaths after he saved them and Spyro normally buys things at Moneybags but that other bear only gives Spyro treasures after he defeats Kaos and the point of the portals is actually going through them but Skylander Spyro took a balloon boat tunnel train and bubble and true the small portal thing that brings Spyro and the others Skylanders but still and in the old games there was more land and room for Spyro to walk around and Legend Spyro to and when they now letted Spyro to fly when ever in Dawn of the Dragon but Skylander Spyro only flys around and whoa I really putted alot of words in here
