This looks familiar right? Well, since I've completed my roster of characters I hope make it into SmashBros 4, I thought I'd make a separate file here that I could update as more characters are confirmed to be in game. Starting with Lucario, this roster will be updated to reflect any character returning from a previous game or one of the characters I've predicted as soon as they are revealed. Just for the record, I'm not adding alternate skins to this roster (Alph, Koopalings).
Legend:
- Characters with a colored background and the official artwork are confirmed as playable characters.
- Characters with a white background and any sort of official design are confirmed to be in the games as something other than a trophy. These can range from Assist Trophies, Bosses, enemies, stage hazards, etc.
- Characters that weren't on this predicted roster in a square will be added to the "New Fighters" section below the original roster. I will add a rendering from them when it's revealed however.
- Characters with a "green checkmark" are confirmed to be in the game, but there's no official rendering from smashbros.com I can use for this roster
- Characters with a "red X" over them are either cut from Brawl (sorry Ice Climbers), not in the game as anything major (trophy, etc.) or just aren't in the game at all. Better luck next time.
Added characters since creation of this picture: Lucario, Little Mac, Diddy Kong, Dark Samus (Assist Trophy), Zero Suit Samus, Sheik, Yoshi, Charizard, Greninja, Dillon the Armadillo (Assist Trophy), Ike, Mii Fighters, Palutena (everyone saw her coming), Mr. Game and Watch (from the Pac-Man Trailer), Pac-Man (YES!!), Captain Falcon, Lucina, Robin, Chrom (Appears in a Final Smash), Meta Knight, Ghirahim (Assist trophy), Krystal (in game trophy), Shulk, Ness, Falco, Wario, Ganondorf, G&W's official artwork, ROB, Duck Hunt Dog, Dark Pit, Bowser Jr., and Mewtwo (which makes me wonder who else could be DLC) Dr. Mario's there somewhere too...... Also Lucas has been added. Maybe there's hope for King K. Rool after all?
New Characters I want to see:
- Dixie Kong
- King K. Rool (more so than Dixie as Donkey Kong is about more than just the Kongs. It's also about the foes they overcome)
- Ghirahim (confirmed as Assist Trophy)
- Dark Samus (confirmed as Assist Trophy 
- Palutena (Confirmed as a Playable Fighter)
- Rocket
- Louie (Despite not originating from Pikmin 3, he'd use Rock and Winged Pikmin. Titan Dweevil would be his Final Smash. I even have a good idea for his on-screen appearance)
- Krystal (she's just a trophy this time around
- Mewtwo (Confirmed as a fighter, eventually)
- Chrom (He's involved with a final smash, so that's something)
- Hector
- Dillon the Armadillo (confirmed as Assist Trophy)
- Little Mac (Confirmed as a Playable Fighter)
- Chibi-Robo (Telly Vision could be with him carrying his plug so he can quickly use it for attacks quickly)
- Pac-Man (Confirmed as a Playable Fighter)
All characters and their artwork and game logos belong to their respective companies and owners, and I don't own any of the characters nor their respective franchises nor do I expect to gain anything from this "wishlist". All I wanted to do is just show who I would like to see in SSB4. May a lot of them be confirmed.

He's hiding because given the way I arranged the grid for this picture, I couldn't add a new square without it looking messy. It didn't help that given the chronological order of the fighters released, Doc was one of the last ones (officially) revealed
....I guess the same circumstances could've also gone for Dark Pit too. But on the other hand, Dark Pit was new to Smash; we've had Doc in Melee before

Dillon is assist trophy...why? I mean, why Nintendo?! There's so much many things you've could done with him! He has more potential for this game than a Sonic for sure! His game is one of the best Tower Defense games in years (together with PvZ). I still think the roster for Sm4sh is great, but...why?! Ok, I'm just gonna shut up...

I totally agree with you. Dillon had so much potential in him to be a character and yet he's an assist trophy. Why nintendo? You know, they prbly could've used a Tower Defense inspiration for his final smash if they really tried. I think we wouldn't be feeling so strongly about this unless they actually confirmed a bunch more newcomers soon. Need more newcomers!!!!

I'm aware of that, but why could I take Dark Samus off the roster just cause she (? Is it a she?) is an assist trophy? This is just a prediction roster, and while not a character, she still miraculously got in the game beyond being a normal trophy, hence the white background and the less than admirable character art I had to use.

This is a genius idea. Keep your predictions/wanted characters on the list, while still updating with the new confirmed ones. By the end when everyone is confirmed, you will have clear photo of how much you predicted was right. Just awesome.

My favourite Brawl character was just disconfirmed today, because Sakurai suddenly decided to hate transformation characters. RIP Pokemon Trainer.

No not necessarily. He was just trying something new like making Charizard, Sheik and ZSS separate character slots. People also seem to think that there won't be anymore Pokemon reps? We WILL get Jiggypuff for sure. They won't remove her because she has been in since the very beginning of the series. Same with Ness and Captain Falcon.

Well, I am sorry for your loss. The characters I predict will return are: Ness, Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, Ganondorf (he might get a new moveset), Ice Climbers, Mewtwo, Meta Knight (he will return for sure but they will heavily nerf him), Mr. Game and Watch and Lucas.
I honestly don't see Ike, Wolf, R.O.B. or Snake returning. Ike might get replaced with Chrom, Wolf might be replaced with Krystal, R.O.B. was only in there because they wanted a more retro character and Snake is implied to be cut since Kojima said that it is unlikely that he would return?

It also looks like we'll also be getting Jigglypuff as the last confirmed poke, which means Mewtwo prbly won't join the battle this time again. At least though, we can all play as Charizard again and even better: use his mega X form (and Lucario's too)

I never really cared about Mega Evolutions being in Smash. I find "Super Mode" Final Smashes to be a bit boring.

I enjoy using "Super Mode" Final Smashes myself but mostly because I know i'm dealing more damage and knockback out of it, and it's kind of fun to bring the pain on everyone as Giga Bowser or Super Sonic. I find since u still have to really on controlling a character (rather than a blast or time event), it forces u to deal damage to players smarter since a "Super Mode" isn't forever.

Oh I didn't mean like Super Sonic. By Super Mode Final Smashes I mean Final Smashes where a character has the same moveset and stuff but they just have boosted stats. I liked it in Brawl because there was only three and they were all different from each other. Bowser's made him giant, Wario's made him stronger, and R.O.B.'s added an extra constant attack.
But there's only so many ways you can do Super Mode Final Smashes before they get stale. We've already got Giga Mac, with is sorta like Bowser's. I just see Mega Evolutions being more stat-boosting Final Smashes and I prefer diversity.

I guess since the roster is going to get much bigger with SSB4, its only fair that they a few more Super Mode FS's, especially since some people will want to play as pokemon and use their mega evolutions. Atm, we only have 4 Super Modes confirmed (Mac, Charizard, Lucario and Bowser (and even Giga Bowser isn't confirmed yet)), and since the roster will prbly grow, the number won't become much bigger barring the return of Wario and R.O.B. so there's prbly going to be a good diversity of Final Smash types to pick from. We'll just have to wait until the roster is all accounted for.
