Drawing made in Photoshop, using Intuos 3 Graphics tablet. 4 hours.

Yes, I heavily used a photograph as a reference. The reason was, I have only seen a few of these, and when spotting squirrels they are so fast so it is difficult to conjure your own image of one in your mind. Because this is part of my realism project, I wanted this to be as accurate as possible.

I didn't trace, however. It was all free-hand so I could get some practice at atomony.
