I swear I took a photo of this exact motif when I was in Saint-Jean-de-Luz in 2003 as well.Trivia: the name of the green boat to the right "Lapurdi" is the Basque name of one of the original seven Basque provinces. And as you can see if you squint is from Bayonne, the main settlement in Lapurdi (or Labourd as it's called in French).
