I have a question: is there any reason you don't use IK for the hands? (I'm a beginner and don't have much experience in animation, but the few tutorials I saw recommend using them, I'm sure your reason is good and I just want to know)

And I just don't like them on the hands. They're more or a hassle than a help. I only use them if I need to have the hands latch onto something, other wise it's much more efficient, for me, to work without them

I make the iris separate from the whites. And then assign that to a bone that can move freely.

Nah, I like working with the arms without an IK. I'll add it when needed, but most of the time it's just a hassle.

How do you get all your shapes to stay smooth and flow along the surface in perfectly organic curves?
All I can make is models made of jagged edges, and if I want them smoothed, I gotta go in and round out every inch of it, myself.

Yeah, I made a lot of objects because I was using easytool which I learned that has a very high vertex or poly count so I stopped using it altogether. This wholeΒ thing is self taught, i'm currently modeling my Demon Nine-Tails Mitsuitzi in his 2016 design.
