SO, I guess Bowser's gonna be in Skylanders, with a fancy new hammer! Not really interested in the game, but the design and Amiibo look real cool!

LoS was not a rightful incarnation at all. I'm sorry, but I can't stand The Legend of Spyro. Awful, awful games. Mainly story wise, the gameplay was ok, but bland. Everything about the story I hated.
Skylanders is as close as to Classic Spyro as it's gonna get. Besides, Spyro still gets a lot of focus and character development in the comics and books. He's basically the same as OG Spyro but not as cocky.
Sorry, I just hate it when people think Skylanders is nothing like the original Spyro games.
