Hey, man, excellent HDRIs! The only problem is that Lightwave uses spherical HDRs for the environment image - is there any way I could get these as spherical probes?

Set them as the environment map and render.
I'd recommend reading the tutorial with hdri maps and the brazil renderer if you want an indepth tutorial on them.
