Ummmm, for people who don't know what they are, they are textures that are layed onto an object in a 3d program to give fake reflection without having to calculate a true reflection which takes up massive amounts of memory. A good example is this [link] back then raytraced reflections were impractical/impossible so they had to use an image to fake the reflection, which is what these are. Oh and great job btw!

What you are trying to say is that these HDRi are just to be use for fun. I work with AutoCad and Accurender can I use your HDRi's in some of my work has they are commercial products?

Thank you smashmethod, like many others I appreciate the time you invested into making these and can totally sympathize with the issue of finding decent HDRI's. At least, for free

These are excellent. Uberenvironment in Daz3d Advanced has an HDRI to Tiff converter that works fantastic with these. They are also really useful for PwSurface2 and I expect in carrara as well.
Many, many thanks

I appreciate the gesture, but if I can't use them in a commercial project I may as well not bother to DL them.

Fair enough, though I find odd that everything you do is either for sale, or under commission.

Actually if you look at my flickr account, which is here, [link] - you'll see I make a great deal of things available for all to use under the most permissive CC license there is.
I'm not criticizing you. Maybe I should put it another way: I was excited to find your work and I was looking forward to downloading it until I saw the restrictions. I don't want to bother keeping track of which of my resources are usable in a job and which aren't, so it's easier to just avoid altogether.
