Hey do you happen to have this image in a larger size? I wanted to use it as a wallpaper for a Retina MacBook Pro (2880x1800)

Here you go: [link]
The dimensions didn't match, so the top and bottom got cropped off a little.

It looks fantastic, great use of colours. My only complaint is that the shadows don't seem to match.
The background has nice, dark shadows, as well as an orange hue to the right, whereas your floating landmass is very clean, nearly shadow free and doesn't seem effected by the orange sunset.
Unless of course your intention was to try and separate the two worlds? In which case it's quite distinct

I hate you for being too good at things.
Seriously though, great work, inspirational.

awesome concept, poor resolution makes it unusable as a desktop wallpaper for most people.

It's the source file for the poster, the wallpapers are on the site. And I would hardly say 1600x1200 is 'oor resolution'.

I'm listening now and will likely have a review up this evening. What did youuse to record this? Logic, Ableton?

Wow, a whole review? I'm both anxious and nervous.
The entire album was composed in Reason 4, with some additional mastering (like volume leveling, etc.) done in Cool Edit Pro -- which is just a very old version of what would be bought out and turned into Adobe Audition/Soundbooth back when Synthrillium owned it.

[link] Hopefully this doesn't augment your anxiety or create any nervousness.
I have always liked Reason (although only used it on occasion these days, as I get sucked into using sample banks along with my own electronic drums run through Ableton...it induces a certain laziness on my part

Thank you very much for taking the time to do such a thing. It still blows my mind to know there are people who would listen to my album the way I would listen to some bands I like. Which isn't to say I don't like listening to my own music, but it just feels different to me for obvious reasons.
The fact that there's actually a review (and a glowing one at that) of my album means a lot to me. I really do appreciate it.
It feels more official now. Glad you like it (and the remix thing is a good idea). I was planning (on one of the tracks) to record each instrument like 20 times in different orchestral instruments, and then mix it all together for a more orchestrated sound, but I actually thought "If I make this one track that way, I know I'm going to like it, and I'm probably going to force myself to remake the other tracks to match."
Needless to say, the daunting task of doing that made me back off, but maybe I should try it, at least once, to see what the final result is.
Anyway, thanks again, I feel like a real artist now

Beautiful, Dan! I haven't seen you do anything like this in SO long!!! Love this stuff! Did I ever show you the birthday cake I did with your triptych?

This is really great.
I'm reminded of the floating island in Gorillaz' El Manana.

Wow! This is really quite something. The concept is so beautiful and inspirational. This will make a brilliant promotional poster! Well done!
