"Prepare the hybrid merging experiment!", a scientist says behind glass looking at a machine.

Two electrical voltages burst in a huge explosion.

"Wha...What happened?!", the scientist asked.

"The subjects escaped!", another scientist said, and the lab is suddenly hit by explosions as a roar is heard.

At H.E.A.T. HQ, Randy was laying on the couch as Elsie walks in.

"Hey Randy, I thought you were assigned to clean up a bit.", Elsie said.

"I was, but I passed it down.", Randy points to the little monsters who are sweeping with their tails.

"How did you teach them that?!", Elsie asked.

"Heh, little bit of magic, compadres.", Randy said.

"Yeah, sure Tom Sawyer...", Elsie said going on the computer.

"Y'know, I've been thinking..."

"That's a surprise...", Mendal said coming in.

"What if we find more of them little fighters? Maybe...We could raise them!", Randy said.

Elsie and Mendel just looked at him.

"Y'know, mutation daycare!", Randy said.

"What's going on?", Nick said coming in with Monique.

"Randy wants to be Papa mutation.", Elsie said.

"Really Randy?", Nick asked.

"C'mon jefe, think about it. We grow these little guys into good guys, we don't need to worry about anymore city problems.", Randy said.

"No, mutations can't be trained like that.", Nick said.

Randy had that "I'll prove you wrong" gleem in his eyes.

"Hey guys, we got a mutation.", Elsie said.

"What is it?", Nick asked.

"They say it's got 3 heads, and it's headed...", Elsie said.

"And it's headed right for New York.", Nick said.

"We must get Major Hicks immediately.", Monique said.

"We'll get the H.E.A.T. Seeker ready.", Nick said running.

Later, the H.E.A.T. Seeker was off.

"We've got something big on radar jefe!", Randy said.

A big water wave was heading straight for them. Monique turned in time to avoid it. Everyone else went to the deck, and the monster rose. It was huge, with 3 heads, and an odd body shape.

"It looks like some kind of Hexaprotodon liberiensis!", Elsie said.

"Exsqueeze me?", Randy asked.

"Pygmy hippo! It's a small version of a Hippopotamus!", Nick said.

"Well that thing's HUGE!", Randy said.

It suddenly slammed it's tail, missing the Seeker by inches.

"Kraven! Signal Godzilla!", Nick yelled.

Mendel was about to signal, when Zilla came from deck and growled. Godzilla still came.

"Nice job Z-Man!", Randy said.

Godzilla looked at the 3 headed hippo and roared. He slammed it with his tail and dove after it. He kept slashing at it but the hippo tried chomping him.

"We can't let it bite Godzilla! A hippo has enough jaw strength to break a crocodile in half!", Nick said.

"Dibs on the mini sub!", Randy said.

Nick and Randy went in the mini sub as Godzilla and the hippo fought.

"Alrighty, let's rock this Trippodon!", Randy said.

"Naming it already?", Elsie asked.

Godzilla fired his Power Breath at it, but it countered with a beam of it's own. The mini sub fired a missle into the Trippodon creature's mouth. It roared in pain, and swam towards New York faster then Godzilla could keep up.

"Call Major Hicks! Tell him it's heading his way!", Nick said over the radio.

"Too late worm guy, it's already here!", Hicks said.

"We're coming Major!", Nick said.

The Seeker arrived to see Trippodon destroying the city.

"Hippo's are very territorial, this one is on a rampage!", Nick said.

"Any ideas worm guy?", Hicks asked.

"We're thinking Hicks, we're thinking.", Nick said.

Meanwhile, Audrey and Animal were video taping from the ground.

"Make sure you get every inch of it Animal!", Audrey said.

"Whattya think I'm doing? Watching fireworks?", Animal said and kept videotaping the Trippodon.

"This is Audrey Timmins for...", she suddenly stopped.

"Hey, what's wrong, mutant got yer toungue?", Animal asked.

"Animal, behind you!", Audrey said.

Animal looked, and there was a huge bug larva, came up to their torso!

"HOLY MOLY, now THAT'S a BUG!", Animal said videotaping it.

"Nice bug...", Audrey said backing off.

The larva crawled to them, and made affection noises, specificly to Audrey.

"Hey, I think the little guy likes you.", Animal said.

"Er...", Audrey said bending to it and petting it.

It was soon interrupted when Trippodon destroyed a nearby building about to fall on them. The larva quickly dug a hole and they crawled in, avoiding the building collapse.

"Nick, we're at our stakes!", Hicks said.

"Try aiming inside it's mouth! It's jaw is it's biggest weapon, we aim for that it might weaken it!", Nick said.

The military tried the advice of aiming inside it's mouth, but it got angry and attacked the helicopters violently. Then, Godzilla arrived with Komodithrax.

"YAHOO! The dynamic duo! Get ready for the heavyweight match of the century!", Randy yelled.

They both shot atomic fire at Trippodon, but it charged forward, knocking them both back. They got up, and Godzilla used his tail, in which Trippodon ducked, but Komodithrax headbutted it back. Two of it's heads managed to grab Godzilla and Komodithrax, and the third was charging up a beam at close range.

"MAJOR! THE JAW! HURRY!", Nick yelled.

A missle was fired into it's jaw, and the beam and missle collision, was a painful knockback, and threw Trippodon into the sea. It didn't resurface.

"So...It's down?", Randy asked.

"Seems like it.", Elsie said.

Godzilla roared, and both of them dived in the water.

"Nice work Dr. Tatopoulos!", Audrey said arriving on the scene.

"Audrey! Where did you come from?", Nick asked.

"From there.", Audrey said pointing to a hole.

"How did you...?".

"I met a friend.", Audrey said, and the larva appeared.

"Audrey! Do you have any idea how dangerous it is to have a mutation around?!", Nick asked.

"It saved my life Nick, it's not dangerous.", Audrey said.

"Looks like a baby female honey bee.", Elsie said.

"Well jefe, you did say no mutants could be trained.", Randy said.

"Don'tcha hate it when your wrong?", Elsie rubbed it in for Nick.

"Fine, a baby mutation daycare...And your in charge.", Nick said.

At H.E.A.T. HQ, there was a large cage in the back of the station with the mutations playing.

"Alright, who wants to chow down?", Randy said bringing in food.

"Well Nicky, guess it wasn't such a bad idea.", Elsie said.

"If these creatures really are trained, perhaps they really can become...", Monique said.

"Earth Defenders.", Nick said.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of the sea, Trippodom opens his eye...
