A character that would have been SEGA's answer to Nintendo's Link. Ristar was a character capable of being SEGA's secondary mascot next to Sonic. His gameplay was enjoyable, his music was addictive, he had an amazing game of a run.

Ristar has a strange combination of abilities. He is a shooting star, but that isn't his main way of attack. His main way is to grab enemies with his extendable stretchy arms, and head ram them (Though in his case, body ram). He seems to be a pretty optamistic guy too, even finding time in an ice baren world to make a tiny snowman. Pretty good of him considering he was sent by his mother to save the entire galaxy and his father.
