Well, that is a splendid near-atmospheric-planetary render. The lava flow is most pleasing (in the context of the orbital image). A fuller piece would be most welcome.

it looks stunning, a very nice depiction of a planet being torn to shreds,
only one thing, the athmosphere looks kinda low, or is that intentional,
or are my eyes deceiving me?

alright, well, it is a different planet then earth so
it having a thin athmosphere isn't that unlikely, perhaps it's
just a planet that's like 2-3 times bigger then earth, thus having
a greater gravitational pull and stretching the athmosphere thinner
across the surface
