Very VERY awesome design! It's such a cool idea and amazing what a 3D printer is capable of.

The company I founded with couple friends of mine has an Eosint 395 SLS 3D-printer. It makes very tough nylon pa2200 material that works amazingly with all kinds of things. You can check out: www.materflow.com for more details. There is a short video and some technical specs if you are interested. If you want to realise any 3D-designs dont hesitate to contact me

Thanks! I read something about a 3d printer that was used to make an artificial hand but I wasn't sure if it really existed. The lamp looks cool, by the way.
