Today, we have the Smog Monster, Hedorah! I find Hedorah a great idea of a monster, pollution is a real problem and Hedorah is an example of that. Hedorah should really come back to films one day, such as the Monsterverse, imagine the possibilities. I based the design on both the Showa and Millennium designs, mostly leaning towards the Showa design.
