Description
Since today is Pokemon Day, I thought I'd make a little something that shows the two main reasons I got into Cartoon Network back in late 2008. Even though my cousin David did show me the original Ben 10 via DVDs, I didn't really watch much of the main Cartoon Network channel, that was until two TV shows that were either coming out and/or already on Cartoon Network peeked my interest; and those shows were Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl Battle Dimensions/Galactic Battles and Star Wars The Clone Wars. Back then I really loved the first Season of Clone Wars, with my favorite arc being the Malavolence Arc. As for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, I really LOVED the episodes where Pikachu and the others would encounter Team Galactic. And even 3 years later in late 2011, there was a time where I was visiting Walt Disney World for a short vacation, and the one thing I was excited to do more than anything else was to ride the, at the time, new Star Tours: The Adventures Continue ride, to see all the different beginnings, middles, messages, and endings it had every time you ride it. On that same vacation I also participated in the Jedi Training Academy show, meaning I did get to fight Darth Vader. What does this vacation have to do with Pokemon you ask? Well, I visited my cousins' house on this vacation, and on that day, Cartoon Network was playing a rerun of the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl: Galactic Battles episode where Ash & Pikachu and the others stop Team Galactic from using Dialga and Palkia's powers to destroy their world and create a new one. On that same day we were going to meet my folks at a restaurant in the Boardwalk hotel (the hotel I was staying at on this vacation) and when me and my cousin David were walking, our imaginations were working into overdrive, so while slightly playing with each other, I said in a playful fun way "Team Galactic's working with The Empire" and gosh was that a fun day.

Anyhow, I'm still happy that these two shows are the main reasons I fully got into Cartoon Network.
