I had an idea for a version of Garcello that's basically an vengeful spirit verging on becoming a demon from the amount of people he's killed to keep himself alive.

He lures them into secluded spaces with the glow of his body and then will fill their lungs with himself

The molecules of his body work to suppress the nervous system of the victim while keeping them fully conscious and aware of their situation. This is so they can't feel pain and can't struggle, but he's able to talk to them while he absorbs them into his ethereal form.

In order to absorb a victim the molecules of his body produce an enzyme that dissolves any tissue it comes into contact with. Dissolved tissues turn into a liquid that's identical in composition to Garcello himself and diffuses from the victim's eyes and mouth in their final moments.

He purposely avoids dissolving the most vital parts of a victim's body until the last moments of their life. This makes the process a lot longer, and it will typically take up to 8 hours for a victim to fully dissolve.

Garcello expresses little to no remorse for his victims, only regretting the fact that he'll never have anybody to talk to that he isn't going to kill.
