i know youre not going to finish it but his pose looks like an awkward combination of static and in movement (like hes leapfrogging the stump) but if he's sitting on it the perspective on the stump is a little off since his butt is in the air. If he is supposed to be jumping over it he looks a little stiff and low-
tl;dr the figure/ground relationship is wonky
i do like the smooth neutral painting you did, though. the subtle shading is a good representation of diffused light

Oh yeah he is leap frogging the stump.
It's p wonky when I think about it, especially for how large his hands are and short his arms are. I was never sure he would clear the stump...

not sure, just a character I made for a comic a few years back. I used to draw sonic character garbage many years before that so you can kinda see the semblance. I later saw that he looked a little like ratchet cuz of his color scheme but I kept it because I preferred it.
