Skeletal based on the proportions of the Specimen ( 2900 - 3) exhibited at the Page Museum\Tar Pits Museum, Los Angeles.
Certainly turned out very long and tall in the leg. Lions are the most open country dwelling of the panthera. The plains and open landscapes of Megafaunal North America were likely Panthera atrox’s prefered range.
What a massive cat structure, what a range of moving possibilities.
