Description Pokemon Reality volume 4 page 10.

And so the battle begins! Perceptor did try and say that he didn't want to battle. And no offence to gastly, but I don't imagine ghost types are likely to pass up such an easy opportunity to attack like that! And neither does Skyfire it seems! Whilst Ratchet is doing the pokemon battling equivalent of complaining to the ref.

For those of you interested, the attacks in this page are Shadow Ball and Wing Attack, it's kind of hard to show that in just line art though!

Bad idea using psycics against ghosts. Although I will say has a really high sp. def which can be handy.

Well in their defense gastly is part poison, so if your psychic type is a high enough level it should be able to take the gastly out before it gets a change to go all ghosty on your ass! Yes, I think that's probably the only reason Perceptor was able to take a super effective STAB shadow ball to the face and still be conscious!

I always remember because I used psychic types all the time to battle ghosts in red and blue and totally didn't even realise ghosts were super effective against psychics or that ghost's weren't weak to psychic attacks! I used to think ground was super effective against ghosts when I was little as well.

Pokemon Red. I got it at the same time I got my first ever game system, a translucent purple gameboy colour. ^__^ My sister helped me play it at first.
