Description
The first of two submissions by me to Project Aurora's 3rd release (see www.projectaurora.art). Made using a combination of Cinema4d, Video Copilot's Orb plugin for After Effects and Photoshop.Really pleased with this piece and how it came out, in particular the calm feeling of it (despite the obvious power of the gas giant behind the portal). Hope everyone else likes it to.

I'm digging the new work. How is the activity at Aurora? I've been keeping an eye out for new art collectives for years now, unfortunately it seems those projects are dying out. Sad to see. Glad to see there are artists like yourself that are keeping it going, though.

It goes up and down, it is all organised through a facebook group and the last few weeks before a release tend to be pretty active, but outside of that not a huge amount goes on.
I know what you mean about art collectives, its a shame, but I guess the internet is quite a different place from when they were at their peak, and most of us have gone from being teenagers at school/uni to adults with full time jobs etc, I guess they were largely a thing of their time. A great time though
