I am really pretty pleased with this, I created the base mandelbulb3d render and instantly knew what sort of thing I wanted to do with it. After adding the ships (modelled in c4d) I couldn't get it quite to a point I was happy with, and Julian offered to collaborate on it. He really took it to the next level, go check out his work if you haven't already.
