This is good except for one major technical issue, the rail mech is way too spread out.

although it does make sense that it firest DU rods it doesn't make sense that uranium is ferromagnetic as far as i know, so maybe a DU core mixed with some other metal like silver or better is gold because it is relatively dense compared to most metals. Very nice model.

not being particularly clever in the scientific part of futuristic weapons, i honestly just went with what sounded like a good projectile, but you're right, it doesnt make sense. thanks for pointing out my error! I bow to the smarter man! (or jumpman, as it were!)
