I wanted to challenge myself to draw interesting poses and to try and make a base set. There were many failures but I consider managing to finish 10 to be a big success.I took many photos of myself for reference. But the legs of the second base were based off a magazine photo and the third doll is a resized version of this doll here fav.me/d47ybpp . I used a stock photo (senshistock.deviantart.com/art⦠) to sketch that doll so if you use that base (and only that base - all the others are 100% mine) then please be sure to also credit

I think the bottom right one is a little off. I'd say the feet should be farther apart, but then again, I'm not very good at drawing people and am not positive. It just seems like, if you'd be holding something like a sword or a baseball bat, you'd have your legs spread out a little more, for more balance. But I still love your bases. They're really good ^^

Wonderful! Unique posts, things you don't usually see a base for... It's only fair to admit that I'll probably only use them for anatomical and posing references rather than tracing or drawing over it... but if and when I use them - which I doubtless will! - I'll still give you credit, and a link if you'd like? ^^

Its taking bits of different bases and sticking them together. Like taking the head of one base and sticking it on the body of another base.

Yes! Interesting poses! I'm always looking for interesting poses - I find them really inspiring (and helpful in establishing the character of a character doll). I'm loving these, especially the three point crouch and the backside view base.
If you ever feel the need to challenge yourself with interesting base poses again . . . . GIVE IN TO IIIIIIT!

This is exactly why I have to ban myself from buying games. 50% of the games I do have, I've given to friends for safekeeping so I don't go on another gaming marathon bender again.
What can I say? I'm a plower. I don't do things 20 or 30 or 60 minutes at a time. I plow. Without stopping to eat. Hence the banning.
