Description
He's becoming a shockingly popular character of mine so let's throw him up here too. Doggy-version of the Slender Man, who may have some sort of story in the works so might as well add him to my character queue. You are free to use this design of SlenderDog for any of your endeavors. I don't even care if you give me credit or not. I can't really claim the slender concept as my own so... do whatever.
Here are some notes that I've compiled, feel free to ignore them:
- Skin is that weird pale shade of pink, but his blood and insides/organs/etc are various shades of black, including his teeth and, presumably, his bones (if he even has any, nobody is really sure).
- Though he has no eyes, he seems to have no trouble seeing. There's some suggestion that he "sees" with an extra non-mortal sense, similar to the infrared senses of pit vipers, but rather than sense body heat, he seems to be attracted to blood and in particular beating hearts. He must also be able to see in normal mortal light ranges, however, as he has no trouble reading written messages.
- He is absurdly tall, as all versions of the mythos are. He is visibly based off of a great dane, yet is notably taller than even a mortal dane, standing close to five feet at his shoulder. He dwarfs other dogs.
- Though capable of changing the shape and nature of them, he is almost always depicted with exactly 8 extra limbs. They are his primary tools for interacting with the environment and are highly mobile and flexible, compared to the rest of his body which is normally stiff or stationary by comparison.
- He does not run or walk, but rather 'blips' from place to place in an instant. Something about his existence on this plane is tied to our awareness of him, therefore he cannot move from a particular spot as long as someone has eyes on him, as though anchored to reality. When not observed, however, he can teleport freely to any place, any time, and any location anywhere.
- He is notoriously silent- mute and unable to speak or make any sort of noise. However, he can communicate telepathically or by writing things with his claws in walls, floors and ceilings. As the sound of his mind-voice tends to drive mortals insane, he's sparing in his use of it and does most of his communicating through writing of various types.
- He's quite intelligent and from a higher plane of existence from humans and other, normal dogs. His interest in mortals seems to stem from a desire to study, observe and understand them. However, this means that he has a very limited base understanding of how the world works and seems to be particularly intrigued by the mortal ability to feel pain, bleed and die. Slender himself cannot be killed by mortal means. He uses his targets to explore this 'strange phenomenon' instead, but is curious in his pursuit rather than aggressive.
- Something about his presence and abilities interferes with mortal electronics and vice versa. Slender can be detected using EMF readers, some forms of radar and sonar equipment (on which he tends to show up as an ambiguous cloud of strange interference), and using radios, cellphones or walkie-talkies. Anything that picks up radio waves will begin to emit static white noise that will intensify with his proximity. Cameras and video screens will also display this static effect, only visually more so than auditory. Occasionally, his thoughts (or images depicting his thoughts or what he sees) can be picked out of the white noise.
- Like a ghost, he can be thwarted/held back by lines of salt and cannot seem to easily teleport around them- as a material, it seems to nullify is anti-dimensional properties. He has no trouble touching them physically though.
- Similarly, he is capable of possessing/controlling/influencing mortals to the point of almost controlling their actions. These puppets of Slender are often called Proxies, and their behavior varies wildly. Some are only influenced by Slender, feeling urges or desires but being fully able to ignore them, retaining their memories, personalities and moral standards. Others are more completely overwhelmed by Slender's influence, forgetting who they are completely and becoming single-mindedly driven toward whatever goal it is Slendy has set for them. It is suspected that Slender is merely experimenting with his ability to influence others in these regards, as none of these Proxies have ever done anything of significance. They are almost simply extensions, puppets, playthings.
- Though he possesses the visual semblance of them, Slender has no true gender or reproductive organs. Or at least, not on a mortal level. Perhaps for an interdimmensional being, he is normal. We'll never know. The point is that he is fascinated by the mortal concept of reproduction and the various extremes one can find within it. This is probably why sexually based torture methods are a common theme in his mythos.
- Contrary to popular belief, he has no preference for the age of his targets. Children are likely easier targets as they are easy to fool, but he has had plenty of adult victims. Most of his targets are disturbed or troubled individuals who have recently experienced some form of tragedy in their lives.
- He does have a habit of taking and then completely disappearing with people. Where he takes them is unknown, but it is likely a location outside of this dimmension. No one ever seem to return from that place, other than Slendy himself.
He's modeled after a great dane, btw.

Sure, you're free to draw him if you like. You can post it too, I don't care. x3 I don't own the concept of slenderman, and I'm not the first person to turn him into a dog. If you want to use this design for things, feel free to. :3 I'm glad you like it.
