If I was protecting that muffin, and a pony came up to destroy it, I wouldn't hurt the pony. I'd take him into my house, deep underground in a dungeon where no one will hear the pony's screams of utter agony and pain. I would never let the pony die and I would make it my daily routine to torture it. At the minimum, all I need is some string and a sewing needle. If I don't have something sharp to cut with, I'll just bend all of the pony's joints backward.

Probably, but most people that play online act like assholes anyway, regardless of whether ponies are involved or not. Some people seem anti-everything sometimes (anti-intelligent is more accurate), it really is laughable what some people argue over on Xbox Live/PSN. Yeah, CoD just gets less exciting with every release now (for multiplyer that is!). CoD 4 was really innovative for its time and was fun to play for a long while. (The same can't be said for the recent modern warfares or black ops though, because personally, multiplayer just got boring within a couple of weeks if not days, the novelty of it all has truly worn off.)

sad truth about CoD, the trolls ruin it :/ i couldn't be bothered with black ops 2, i thought with the first "oooh a cold war era one? thats actually quite interesting cause it is a really interesting time for these sorts of things!" then they said "Blops 2 is set in the future!" and i was like.. eurgh. pissed off with modern/future fps's, give me something decent! Far cry 3 did it, plus their add-on blood dragon takes future fighting to an ingenious 80's rendition of the future. if you're gonna make a game make it original FFS!

I see what you're saying, but whilst almost all the modern CoD campaign storylines follow that save-the-earth-from-destruction plotline, Black Ops II did offer something different from the usual one-way linear campaign. Seeing past the ridiculous weapon technology, the single player is a really fun, flexible and quite imersive story. The idea of different actions having unique consequences further down the line was refreshing. Its really not all bad, but yes they do need to stop at some point, and the sooner the better.

I never played Black Ops II, i have been permanantley put off CoD after Modern Warfare 3. Didn't play that much either, just felt like finishing that storyline cause it was part of my young teenage years it started so i felt kinda attached. The thing is, I'm totally fine with ridiculous weapon technology, but if you try to make futuristic but realistic, thats when it gets stupid. Go for one or the other. Give us Laser guns that disintegrate the target when shooting them and guns that shoots smart bullets that aim specifically for weak areas like knee joints and heck even crotch areas so they're only stunned. THAT is fun, in my own little childish way ^^
