ATC for ChatLunatique as part of the monthly February trade over at SnailMail-ACEO-Trade - I love trading on that group!
We went with a bird themed myth theme, sort of a "design your own myth" kind of theme with birds as inspiration. I'm currently in Sweden so I got inspired by the many pine trees in the area, and created this colorful bird born of the Bifrost with golden runes attached to its tail feathers, and an extra set of curly feathers at the base of its tail inspired by Lyrebirds. So, it became the Nordic Runebird, a creature born of the Bifrost and therefore colorful, which houses on pine trees and carries with it messages written in the elder futhark, seen attached to its tail.
Being in Sweden at the moment, I could only bring a limited supply of art materials with me so this was a bit more challenging to get the colors right but I'm happy with it I think
