Again one of those 'started scribbling something and it ended up as something bigger than planned.'Always happens to me. And unfortunately, other way around as well [more often actually, I'm lazy.]
I had no plans with this, I just did stuff and this happened over a day on/off. I've got nothing else to say. Mushroom deer.
Aaaaand I'm off to bed. At least I was productive today, eyy!

Reminds me of a fungus that actually does this to ants (I beleive it's in the Amazon, but I may be wrong). Gets in their heads, makes them climb, where it then kills them and grows to release more spores. In which case this elk may be having a very bad day...

Glowing fungus, and a black other-worldly deer that reminds me of Fantasia and Princess Mononoke. Great contrast and I like it!

Whoa, that, perhaps, meant a lot...hahaha But, it really hit my eyes the first time i saw it. It took me a sense of mystery, and some kind of holy stuff..i guess i'd got trapped into the picture once the deer keeps its eyes on me...hahaha You guy pushed me to the edge of cliff i'm going to fall down from...HELP!!!

this reminds me of Princess mononoke - I really loved that movie and this gets me the same feeling like when the older animals died. This is a strong elk infected with some fungus thats obviously hurting him - I dont see the glowing as fire but more as the disease sooner or later killing this - last guardian of the woods.
