I still have more to add AFTER this... since this is really only like one scene. lololol
Anyway there is more to come... if anyone is interested. I just really wanted to upload this... my gallery is looking a little bare. I have TONS of stuff I've drawn all over my computer but... none that I want to upload. LOLOLOL xD /rant
Anyways I'm not super proud of this one only because it took me WAY too long for what it really is... hahaha. Life.

Interesting how you combined two ideas used in LOK fanart: Mako bringing Korra out of the Avatar State, and Mako comforting Korra the way Tenzin did after Amon's ambush. This is really nicely done!

I hope there's some sort of "get Korra under control moment" like this. Because, frankly, Korra can sometimes get ahead of herself and too caught up in trouble for her own good. Even though it seems like they've made her have fair control over the Avatar state (booster rockets for air scooter racing lol), it'd be interesting to see something like this happen.

Haha hopefully there will be some. My headcanon until I'm (no doubt) proven wrong is that she slips into it too easily. Korra IS headstrong and impulsive, after all. Maybe she'll have to learn that she doesn't need it all the time, and how to control her emotion to not activate the avatar state.
(Not to drabble, but it'd make sense/be ironically cute if Mako taught Korra to be a more level-headed avatar and if Korra taught Mako to be a more expressive/parrionate firebender. Cause he's too controlled....yeeeah, now I'm ranting hahaha.)

That is actually a really well thought out prediction. I never thought about it that way haha. Mako IS very controlled... and of course Korra is impulsive she just wouldn't be the same if she wasn't. But.
