Description
Just made this quick reference sheet for Challenger’s cargo backpack (featuring an exclusive drawing of her eye as well). Essentially, it’s actually attached to her leotard; the straps are there to keep it from jostling around too much as she moves. It latches from the inside; she uses her Remote Manipulator System to open and close it. Inside is an array of hooks and grabbers to hold cargo, as well as an open hole exposing her skin so her RMS arm can go through (it’s attached to her body, like an extra limb but cooler).

Usually, her cargo bay contains some combination of the following, as illustrated above:
-A large white box containing a can of spare fuel for her boots and a bunch of tools and spare parts (red)
-Various snacks (orange)
-Spare wires and fuel lines for her boots (green)
-At least two spare pairs of sunglasses, sometimes in different styles (teal)

I also included a doodle of her repairing or adjusting her boot while flying; at the same time, she’s drinking juice from a juice box, demonstrating the Canadarm in action. It’s very handy, as you can see.

Bonus features include a rare drawing of one of her eyes and a picture I yoinked from Wikipedia that shows not only her real-life cargo bay, but also that adorable space shuttle smile (I love pareidolia lol).
