Description I’m back with more anthropomorphic ships! Here’s a reference sheet for my personal favorite, RMS Olympic. As an added bonus, you get to see my disastrous handwriting too.

Design Notes:
-Like the other White Star and Cunard liners, Olympic’s hair follows the red/black/white color scheme and her eyes are red. However, her red is darker than the ruby shades seen on Aquitania or the Lusitania class; many White Star liners have darker color schemes overall than their Cunard counterparts.
-Her outfit consists of a relatively simple 1930s day dress underneath a trenchcoat based on her second dazzle camouflage scheme. Her war service was one of the highlights of her career, so I used the coat to represent that, even though the rest of her look is based on her 1930s appearance and service.
-The dress she wears is very simple. I felt a bit bad about that - surely such an opulent ship deserves a fancier dress - but the truth is that if I made it too fancy it would clash terribly with the coat. I’m awfully proud of that coat, you see. No compromising on that one.
-She has very beautiful, angular facial features, and she’s very tall (6’3”). Titanic’s features and height are identical, but she lacks her sister’s dramatic eyebrow scar and generally looks softer and sweeter.
-Speaking of the eyebrow scar, that could really represent any one of Olympic’s various collisions, but my personal interpretation is that it symbolizes her attack on U-103 in 1918. It and the white stripe in her hair are on the right side of her face; Titanic has her matching hair stripe on the left, while Britannic has two stripes that frame her face.
-Olympic has fairly broad shoulders and muscular arms. Such a strong ship deserves an equally strong human form!

Personality:
Olympic is both renowned and feared for her protective nature. She’d willingly die for her loved ones and is willing and able to fearlessly stand up even to the most powerful warships if need be, although this quality borders on recklessness at times. Reckless or not, though, Olympic would rather die a thousand deaths than fail those who are counting on her - as a matter of fact, letting others down is her greatest fear, born from the trauma of trying and failing to save Titanic. That night has haunted her for her entire life, and in fact she spent several years in a state of grief and guilt, which was only intensified by the subsequent sinking of Britannic. Between the U-boat incident, the praise she received during the war, lots of emotional support from her friends, and of course her own sheer strength and resilience, she managed to rise above her pain and grow into a courageous, reliable ship, albeit one with a tendency towards accidental disaster-causing. When she’s not protecting others or destroying smaller vessels, Olympic is usually busy bickering good-naturedly with Mauretania, her lifelong rival-slash-best friend, or Aquitania, the third member of their chaotic little trio.
