Any and all of the frames would stand well on their own. Individually, they are beautifully done.
It chandes too quickly for my taste - any way the viewer can select fps?

Thank You very much. Unfortunately the viewer of a gif animation is just that... a viewer. Not many people can adjust the speed of a gif animation after it has been set by the original artist. This carries an extra burden here at Deviant Art where many gifs tend to run faster than the originals (especially gifs that depict water). I'm not sure why this is, but many times after uploading an animated sequence I am compelled to remove it and adjust the speed. It's tricky because slowing down an animation almost always affects the movement smoothness, causing the animation to move in jerks and intermittent stops. 1/10 of a second doesn't seem like a lot of time but when talking animation it's like the difference between walking and running. This difference in speed is more evident in some animations than others, and 'logic and reason' happens to be one of the ones that it really shows in. When I play this animation at home on my computer it moves at a noticeably slower rate.
I don't 'close' my animations (meaning they can be opened and dismantled and/or modified by others) but those without gif animation software are unfortunately stuck with what they see.
I would be happy to adjust any of my animations on request for those that prefer faster or slower movement, or as I have done in the past on occasion post the frames individually. Message me if you would like this done and with any of my animations. Thank you for your interest.

Wow, thanks for the in depth answer! I know the effect you mention. I'm a fan of the first B&W movies.

You're most welcome. Yes, the effect is similar to the first black and white movies, good example. I don't mind the speed of the classic films- if I am watching a classic film haha. But seeing my animations at double speed tends to detract from the art and often destroys the concept. Recently I posted an animation of a girl in a dress floating just under the surface of a lake. Here at home it looked rather surreal; her dress drifting in the water like it was wind. I uploaded it here and suddenly she looked like a drowning cartoon character haha! I removed it immediately.
