Description
After watching howl's moving castle I had to have a go at the castle, I love the steam punk style of the castle's movement. I used the main picture from the posters for the reference for the castle ([link] ).
It was definitely one of the hardest things I've tried, simply because of the amount of detail in the actual castle. I know I got some of the colours wrong at the front face and sides but it took too long trying to find the right colour for each spot, so I took my closest guess (:

The line work is quite rough, my hand isn't steady enough to draw anything smoothly

I might add the scarecrow somewhere in the future.

time 3.5 hours, used ps7 and painter.

I've got more referenced pieces coming up, I feel working from pictures and scenery is really helping me develop as an artist, specially painting people and hands, so I'll post some more of them soon.
