on the back of a moterbike with your arms out stretched trying to take flightleaving everything behind
but even at our swiftest speed we couldn't break from the concrete
in the city where we still reside
and I have learned that even landlocked lovers yearn
for the sea like navy men

Nearly subliminal, and highly seductive to the eye.
I looked at this for a long time, which is one of the tests I use to evaluate a photograph.
If it takes me a long time to tear my eyes away, that is a strong signal. If I remember it fifteen minutes later, even better. If I come back a week letter, and search for it, well...

I like this; the roughness and corrosion add so much atmosphere.
It reminds me of some of the pictures Vincent Gallo filmed for "The Brown Bunny".

Thank you! I love and hate that about polaroids, as it's a rare occasion I can actually add in the roughness and still make it look nice.
