A front view of Wabash 573 (Rhode Island S Mogul 2-6-0) at the Museum Of Transportation in Kirkwood just outside of St. Louis Missouri.Date Built: 12/1889
Serial #: 3147
Lineage: ex WAB 754.
Notes: Originally built as 20.5x32.5x28-63 compound, rebuilt to 19x28-63, class F4.

Great shot. I think the lack of greenery in the background works out well with this subject.
I plan to get out there some this summer. I think the Transportation Museum is a treasure that just doesn't get the attention it deserves.

I need to get back out there again soon.. I thought they closed at 6pm, but they closed at 4.. So I was kind of rushed and the sun was not my friend that day either.
